Big news here at Aponia Dental! We just presented our first donation to Edmonton's WIN House, which provides shelter and support to women and children fleeing domestic abuse. Our awesome patients have bought 150 purple ribbons so far, for $1 each, and the practice matches every dollar by $5. Help us get to our max donation of $5,000 by purchasing a $1 purple ribbon at your next appointment. It's such a great cause!
Every August, we're proud to host our annual Tooth Fairy Day right here in our practice. Our goal with this event is to build trust with children at an early age and provide them with an introduction to dentistry. We hope to see you this year! Check back often so you don't miss the date!
We believe that early diagnosis is key to saving lives. Not only do we screen for this at each and every check-up, we devote an entire day to educating our patient's about this. In honour of Oral Health Month, we hold this event every April. Check back often so you don't miss the date!
Smart Start Day is something we're very excited about. Our team travels around the community to local schools to educate kids about oral health. It's important to learn proper oral hygiene skills at a young age and we're happy to offer this service. We do this every October and look forward to seeing the young ones!
On May 5th, Aponia Dental participated in a Walk for Breast Cancer Fundraiser. We raised over $2000 and had a blast! We have definite plans to Walk again next year and everyone is welcome to join in the fun!
